About the Bot

The Difficult Conversations Discussion Bot was developed by Jim Dunnigan and Catheryn Reardon with help from staff at ASU's Learning Engineering Institute, to help educators practice challenging dialogues with students, parents, and colleagues in a safe, low-stakes space. Drawing on psychological research and real classroom scenarios, the bot offers realistic prompts and guided feedback.
